Who we are

Information you provide

Our forms collect the information you choose to submit, such as your name, email, organization, requested services, budget and project description. SI Lab intake may also include your role, matter type, urgency, estimated amount involved, available evidence and intended use of a report. Report requests collect an email address and information about the scanned website.

Do not submit passwords, private keys, seed phrases, payment card details or confidential case files through public forms. Share information about other people only when you have a lawful basis to do so. We will arrange an appropriate process if an engagement requires sensitive material.

Website scans and technical information

The Website X Ray tool retrieves public website information. We retain submitted addresses, scan times, page titles, result summaries and errors to operate the tool and respond to requests. Avoid submitting URLs containing confidential information or access tokens.

Our hosting and security systems process request information needed to deliver and protect the website. This can include IP addresses, browser information, access times and technical logs. IP addresses may be used temporarily for rate limiting. These operational records are separate from our private visitor analytics.

Visitor analytics and browser storage

Our private analytics records approved page paths, visit times, broad device types, referral categories and actions such as contact clicks, scroll milestones and successful form submissions. Random browser identifiers are stored in local storage and session storage and reset by calendar day. They are not intended to identify you by name.

We do not store raw IP addresses, full referral URLs, query strings or form contents in the private analytics table. Reports cover up to 90 calendar days. Older events are removed during collection, normally on the next eligible cleanup after they expire. If collection stops, deletion resumes with the next accepted event.

You can turn off private visitor analytics using the Visitor analytics and privacy control in the footer. The preference is saved in that browser. Private collection also respects Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. Clearing storage or changing browsers can reset your choice.

Browser storage is also used for interface preferences, and a necessary session cookie protects the owner dashboard. Hosting platform analytics, when enabled, may separately measure visits and limited interaction events. Our private analytics switch does not control independent hosting platform settings or other websites.

How we use information

We use information to respond to inquiries, scope and provide services, manage client relationships, operate website tools, understand website performance, prevent abuse, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations. Where applicable law requires a legal basis, processing may rely on steps requested before a contract, contract performance, legitimate business interests, legal obligations or consent, depending on the activity.

Sending an inquiry does not subscribe you to a marketing list. If we later request consent for an optional use, you may withdraw that consent without affecting processing already lawfully performed.

When information may be shared

Information may be processed by providers supporting hosting, database storage, communications, security and professional services, as needed for those purposes. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect legal rights and safety, or in connection with a business transaction subject to applicable safeguards.

The website does not include a Google advertising tag or Meta Pixel as part of our private analytics implementation. We do not use the private visitor analytics system to sell personal information or target advertising. External services linked from this website have their own privacy practices.

Retention and security

Inquiry, scan and engagement records are retained as reasonably needed for their purpose, business records, legal obligations and dispute resolution. The analytics reporting window described above does not apply to client records or operational logs. Retention may also be governed by a written client agreement.

We use measures intended to protect information, including restricted access to the owner dashboard. No website, storage system or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. Information may be processed in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate.

Your choices and requests

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of personal information, object to or restrict processing, withdraw consent or appeal a decision. Email hello@bluexdigital.com with your request. We may need to verify your identity and authority, and some records may be retained where permitted or required by law.

We will handle requests within applicable legal time limits. If applicable, you may also contact your local data protection authority. We do not require you to send sensitive documents through a public form to make a request.

Children and policy updates

This website is intended for business and professional use, not for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and address it.

We may update this policy when our practices or legal requirements change. The date above identifies the latest revision. We will provide additional notice or obtain consent when required by applicable law.
